On this punic cippus, a votive offering to the god Milqart, it reads: "To our lord Melqart, lord of Tyre, dedicated by your servant, Abdosiri, and my brother Osirisamor, both of us sons of Osirisamor, the son of Abdosiri. In hearing their voice, may he bless them". The inscription suggests a date in the II century BC, when the Maltese Islands were under Roman occupation.
